The National Portrait Gallery ' and The Royal Society with support from COPUS prepared a free leaflet 'Science and the Portrait' for visitors to the Gallery, St. Martin's Place, London, WC2H 0HE tel: (0171)306 0055. It is a trail round the portraits of scientists in the Gallery included a photograph of Rosalind Franklin.
